Lena Dunham

Lena Dunham is a New York City native who writes, acts and directs for television and film. Her award-winning 2010 independent feature Tiny Furniture was followed up by the half-hour comedy Girls on HBO. She has won Golden Globes for directing and acting in Girls and is planning to release her first book, a collection of personal essays.
