Nate has some Reading Aloud Book Club vets and a first timer on as he welcomes Emily Halpern, Kevin Awakuni, and Ele Woods for the 7th edition of the Book Club series of Reading Aloud in which they discuss Toni Morrison’s novel “God Help The Child. ” They’ll talk about dealing with childhood trauma, what parents do to children, and feeling emotionally distant from the book’s characters. Plus, everyone brings up what they believed to be fantastical elements in the book as they read listener questions.
