Kate Spencer has been writing and performing at the UCB Theatre since 2002. She is a member of the UCBT House Team Reuben Williams which performs on Saturday nights at 10:30pm in their show As Seen On TV. In addition, she is a teacher with the UCBT Training Center and is a member of the theatre’s Touring Company. Other UCBT credits include: Found On Craigslist, B Roll, NeoTokyo Girlcrush 2040, Gang Bang, and The Documentary. Kate has written for METRO newspaper and New York Magazine’s blog Vulture. She also writes a weekly column for CollegeHumor.com and contributed to the Gawker Guide to Conquering All Media. Kate can be found on a daily basis writing about celebrities and pop culture on The VH1 Blog at Vh1.com. She is a graduate of Bates College in Lewiston, Maine, a lifetime member of Red Sox Nation, and once spent a lot of time traveling the country following the band Phish.
