Sara Pocock

Born in Bremerton, Washington, Sara found herself shuffled across state lines many times throughout her childhood. Her method of coping was drawing on living room walls. She decided to capitalize on her interest and moved to Minneapolis, where she earned her BFA in animation at MCAD in 2006, and her MFA in Experimental Animation at CalArts in 2012. She has been making animated films since 2005.

Sara lives and works in Los Angeles, CA, most recently on NBC’s Community and the 2014 reboot of Carl Sagan’s Cosmos.
