Tony Rodriguez is a proud member of the Quick & Funny Musicals Company and recently played Gustavo Fring in UCB’s Breaking Bad Rock Opera.
His screen credits include fun roles for Funny or Die, Adult Swim, Dakota Films and Conan. He wrote for and performed in CBS Diversity Sketch Showcase 2012. Viewers of Spanish-language television might recognize him as the ‘Shooting Star’ in last year’s Boost Mobile commercials. His webseries credits include one of Out Magazine’s top 100, ‘It Gets Betterish.’
A New York City transplant, Tony studied improv at UCB NY, where his teachers included Anthony King, Shannon O’Neill, Charlie Todd, Anthony Atamanuik and Peter Grosz. Tony is a proud alum of the UCB NY Harold Team The Bishop and the improvised Movie group, Oscarbait.
Among various UCB sketch shows, Tony’s favorite roles have been as : Freddie Mercury, Harvey Milk and Salma Hayek.
