I’m feeling very grateful and safe and afraid because California is in real trouble. This is where I’ve been spending my lockdown. I mean, not only are we having our asses kicked by Covid, but now there is a fire cluster fuck happening across the state. There is something like, I think 300 fires, 30 of which are considered to be quite serious. And there was a firenado last week, which sounds made up, but it isn’t. It’s a fucking tornado with fire in it. So it’s pretty heartbreaking just to know that after everything that this country and the city and the state has already been through, to know that there’s just more ahead when people are already just going through so much.
