This week W. Kamau Bell & Kevin Avery discuss the 1987 British drama film Cry Freedom. They’ll talk about how Kevin fell asleep during the movie, Denzel’s character being assassinated by the police halfway through, black stories told through white america, Denzel gearing up for Malcolm X with his performance as black activist Steve Biko, and Denzel showing off his dance moves. Also, they speak on Kevin getting a special Christmas present from the Hotel Nikko and Denzel being in the remake of The Magnificent Seven in another edition of Denzel News.
