WHO CHARTED? WITH HOWARD KREMER

An irreverent look at the week’s entertainment events, hosted by comedian Howard Kremer (Comedy Central, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Austin Stories).  Each week, Howard uses the charts from music, television, movies, video games and more as a jumping off point for a free-spirited discussion regarding pop culture between himself and celebrity guests.

Along with the recurring “keeper of the charts,” Kulap Vilaysack (The Sarah Silverman Program, Reno 911), the first episode features guest Steve Agee (The Sarah Silverman Program, Jimmy Kimmel Live!) dissecting topics such as Rihanna, Criminal Minds, Harry Potter, and more.

“Who Charted? with Howard Kremer” premieres December 8, 2010, and subsequent episodes will be released every Wednesday.

GLITTER IN THE GARBAGE HOSTED BY DREW DROEGE

Groundling and Upright Citizens Brigade regular Drew Droege (The Sarah Silverman Program, Reno 911) hosts this eccentric, often bizarre, free-form podcast, which bounces around from stream-of-consciousness sketches, to character work, to true stories about Drew’s life.

Each week, Drew begins with a story, which serves as a jumping-off point for both improvisational sketches featuring his collaborators and written pieces starring the characters Drew has created. The first episode features guests Nicol Paone (Funny People, The Big Gay Sketch Show) and Tom Lenk (Buffy The Vampire Slayer).

“Glitter In The Garbage with Drew Droege” premieres December 9, 2010, and subsequent episodes will be released each Thursday.

HOW DID THIS GET MADE? WITH PAUL SCHEER

Comedian Paul Scheer (Human Giant, The League) and his guests take a look at specific pieces of art from the world of cinema, television and more, and ask the eternal question – “How Did THIS Get Made?”

The comedian, a fervent historian of pop culture who used to report on the subject for the VH1’s Best Week Ever, conducts a lively discussion about the merits of famous bombs with guests culled from his funny friends.

The program will appear on a semi-regular basis, and guests for the first episode include June Raphael (Year One, Bride Wars) and Jason Mantzoukas (The League, Parks and Recreation).

Additionally, Earwolf will release an “Episode Zero” this week, during which Paul Scheer explains the concept and reveals his choice for first pick, recruiting listeners to watch before Episode One is released.
