Carla Cackowski

Carla Cackowski is an actor and writer currently living in the mostly fun city of Los Angeles.  She is a graduate of The Second City LA, Upright Citizens Brigade, and iO West (formerly Improv Olympic) and has played on mainstage improv teams at all three theaters.  She toured the Caribbean, Canada, Alaska, and Europe performing with The Second City aboard Norwegian Cruise Lines.  She has performed in lots of festivals, like — the San Fran Sketchfest, Out of Bounds Comedy Fest (Austin, TX), Phoenix Improv Festival, Chicago Improv Festival, Del Close Marathon (NYC), United Solo Fest NYC, Hollywood Fringe Festival, and L.A. Improv Festival.  Carla has written and performed five solo shows in the past five years that have toured L.A.’s theater circuit.  Her monologues have been published in anthologies by APPLAUSE BOOKS (A division of Hal Leonard).  She is a member of SAG-AFTRA and has done voiceover work on shows for ABC Family, TBS, and Disney.    Most recently, Carla wrote twenty six episodes of “Lishy Lou and Lucky Too”, an adorable show that aired on PBS Kids as part of the Emmy award winning The Friday Zone.  Carla is also a member of the theater company, The Solo Collective, a group of five unique solo performance artists based out of Los Angeles.
