EP. 34 — Seth Grossman, Mike Freeman

Kicking things off this week is actor Mike Freeman reading an Onion piece entitled “One Time I Punched A Goose Right Out Of The Air” live from UCB-Franklin in Los Angeles. Then, prolific reality TV producer and writer Seth Grossman joins Nate in studio to talk about his time producing MTV’s Made, his new reality show Big Fish Texas, a very special moment in an episode of Flavor of Love that still sticks to his mind, and becoming an Op-Ed writer for the Sunday NY Times. Nate closes the show by making things a little sad as he reads an excerpt from Marina Keegan’s “The Opposite of Loneliness: Essays and Stories.” Be sure to pick up “Purity”, by Jonathan Franzen and send in your thoughts on the book at readingaloudpodcast@gmail.com!
