EP. 212.5 — Sklarbro County 117
Detroit born and Brooklyn based comedian Nate Fridson returns to join the boys for some good ol’ fashioned fun on today’s Sklarbro County! Nate tells us all about his new stand-up album “Best Guy So Far” as well as embraces the weirdness that Daniel Van Kirk brings with a recap of Mancation. Plus, Daniel has some crazy stories which include a Brazilian woman searching for her long lost mother discovers she is married to her brother, a Oklahoma teacher who was fired on her first day for being drunk and indecent, and two women who attacked each other with the taxidermied head of an antlered deer. Then, our good buddy Mark Wahlberg stops by the studio to talk about his roles in Guardians of the Galaxy and tells us about his UCB-LA show The Wahlberg Situation which will be released as a podcast on Earwolf.

Then the discussion turns to the NBA Finals, how close in talent the Warriors and Cavs truly are, and how NBA player contracts should work. All three agree college athletes should be compensated, and debate the best way to do it. On Quick Hits: the Austin Rivers/Big Baby beef, pro athletes living in apartments, and Mr. Met’s fingers.
