Yup, you guessed it — it’s time for a Kyle Dunnigan solo episode! Kyle takes a break from his writing in New York to perform some listener-suggested Punkys and get into it with multiple  special guests. First, Kyle interviews fellow “Inside Amy Schumer” writer Kurt Metzger about everything under the sun, from aliens to Jehovah’s witnesses. After talking to Kurt, Kyle sits down briefly with Amy Schumer and asks her about God. Kyle’s third and final interview is with lifelong friend Michael Andersson, who offers a different take on God than the previous guests and shares some of his particularly fascinating insights as a person living with bipolar disorder, and Kyle tells a riddle. The sanctity of our Christian podcast is broken numerous times as Emily details the story of her family and grills Kyle, Tig and David about their familial relationships, including a closer look at Kyle’s relationship with MOTHER! We take a break from the hatch yet again to bring you another unforgettable live episode of Professor Blastoff, this time all the way from Atlanta! After discussing the fact that they almost didn’t make it to the venue, Kyle tries some new potentially inappropriate impressions and, courtesy of Aaron, we finally learn the origin of the chicken parking lot bit. Tig’s childhood friend Aimee Schmidt, a southern studies major who wears many hats, stops by to school the gang on all things related to the south — including hospitality, BBQ, fried Oreos and everything in between. David brings up the south’s troubled past, which leads to a thoughtful discussion on the current state of affairs in modern southern society. And of course, it wouldn’t be a live episode without a hilarious game of Name that Punky!

Aaron throws in his two cents on the facial hair debate before welcoming guest expert Alysha Reinard, who calls in all the way from the University of Colorado to talk about her research on space weather. Alysha goes into great detail about her studies, how she initially got into the field and she and Kyle bond over their shared love for the Joaquin Phoenix film Space Camp.
