Eliza has been broadcasting a podcast from her van and it now has been 30 days since the incident has wiped out most of the population of the city. Eliza is joined by Barbara, another survivor whom she met while scavenging for survival. They have a heart to heart about the new obstacles that they face day to day now that the future seems bleak. As they begin their journey to another city they encounter teenager Traci Reardon along the road who joins them in the van and helps anyone out there still on Twitter with advice on the apocalypse.
